Defoamer for Syrup Tanks (spelling: deformer = defoamer) is a specialized product from Innova Corporate for Agra's sugar syrup, jaggery, and sweets manufacturing industries. Agra is famous for Petha (ash gourd sweet) and other traditional sweets that require large-scale sugar syrup boiling. During the dissolving, boiling, and cooling of sugar solutions (50-70 Brix), intense foaming occurs due to proteins, saponins, and surface-active impurities present in raw sugar. This foam can cause overflow, loss of product, and safety hazards. Our defoamer for syrup tanks is a food-grade emulsion of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and hydrophobic silica or a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer (non-ionic). It is odorless, tasteless, and heat-stable up to 100°C (boiling temperature of syrup). Addition of just 5-20 ppm immediately collapses foam and prevents re-formation. The product is FDA-compliant (21 CFR 173.340) for use in sugar processing. For Agra's large-scale Petha manufacturers (which produce hundreds of kg per day), we provide this defoamer in 5L and 25L containers with a manual dosing trigger. It does not affect the color, clarity, or taste of the final product. The defoamer also improves heat transfer efficiency by reducing insulating foam layers on heating coils. For jaggery (gur) production, we offer a vegetable oil-based defoamer (more traditional). Our defoamer is also used in molasses storage tanks to prevent foaming during filling. We provide certificate of food-grade compliance and HALAL certification for Agra's export-oriented sweet units. Shelf life: 24 months.

Our product directly added to the Process tank & Aeration tank dilution with water. If foam concentration is high or elevated dose may be by extra 100 gms., subsequently. Application & dosage can be determined by taking industrial trials.
Tacelene Chem 2015 is compatible with almost all products used in process & effluent water treatment program.
