Alkalinity Reducers from Innova Corporate are designed to lower pH and reduce alkalinity in Ahmedabad's industrial water systems, particularly for cooling towers, boiler feed pretreatment, and reverse osmosis feed. Ahmedabad's water sources – Sabarmati river (alkalinity 200-350 ppm as CaCO₃) and groundwater (alkalinity 300-500 ppm) – often have high bicarbonate levels that contribute to scale formation and high pH in cooling towers. Our alkalinity reducers include sulfuric acid (93% or 98%), hydrochloric acid (30-33%), and safer solid acid blends (sodium bisulfate, sulfamic acid). For textile mills and chemical plants using cooling towers, maintaining pH 7.5-8.5 is critical for scale control – our sulfuric acid is dosed via automatic pH controllers to neutralize excess alkalinity. For boiler feed water, reducing alkalinity before reverse osmosis (RO) prevents scaling and reduces chemical consumption. For small-scale industries without automated systems, we offer pre-measured liquid acid packs and solid sodium bisulfate for batch treatment. Our inhibited acid formulations reduce corrosion of storage tanks and dosing lines. For effluent treatment (ETP/CETP) in Ahmedabad's textile sector, alkalinity reducers are used to neutralize alkaline waste (pH 10-12) before biological treatment. We supply complete dosing skids with pH probes, controllers, and safety shower stations. All acids are available in 25L carboys, 200L drums, 1000L IBC, and bulk tankers. For safe handling, we provide acid-resistant PPE and spill kits. Technical support includes acid demand calculations to minimize chemical costs.
It is determined on the basis of nature of water in the system by technical experts from the company. The solution is dosed continuously into feed water tank to the suction side of the system feed line through pressure dosing equipment drip feed arrangement.
