For commercial HVAC in office buildings, hotels, hospitals across the US, BKC 50 is used as a cooling tower algaecide and biocide. For food processing plants (USDA/FDA regulated), it is used as a sanitizer for equipment and surfaces (200-400 ppm). For dairy and beverage facilities, it sanitizes tanks and pipelines. For oilfield water injection, it controls sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB). The 50% concentration allows economical shipping and on-site dilution. Synergistic with glutaraldehyde and isothiazolinone. Incompatible with anionic polymers – separate feed. For US hospitals and healthcare facilities, BKC 50 is used for floor and surface disinfection (EPA-registered). Residual activity lasts 3-5 days.
