Biocides Di thio Carbamate Food Grade (INNOVA BCD 002) in Assam
Innova Corporate (India) supplies Food Grade Di-Thio Carbamate based biocide (active: sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate – SDDC) for Assam's food processing and beverage industry – including tea processing (CTC and Orthodox), rice mills, fruit processing (pineapple, oranges), traditional food units, and dairy. SDDC is effective against a wide range of bacteria (including spore-formers), molds, and yeasts without imparting taste, odor, or color. For Assam's tea processing units, adding 10-50 ppm to water used for washing and withering prevents microbial contamination that can affect tea quality. For rice mills (common across Assam), it prevents fungal growth during parboiling and storage. For fruit processing (pineapple, orange juice units), it prevents fermentation and mold growth. The product is non-foaming and stable over pH 6-10. It exhibits rapid kill (contact time 30 minutes at 50 ppm) and degrades relatively quickly in the environment. For cooling towers serving rice mills and tea processing chillers, this biocide prevents Legionella without corroding stainless steel. Dosing recommendation: 25-75 ppm once daily, or 150 ppm weekly shock. It works synergistically with glutaraldehyde. The product is certified HALAL and Kosher for Assam's export-oriented tea and rice products (exporting to Europe, Middle East). For reverse osmosis systems in tea gardens (boiler feed), this biocide can be used as a non-oxidizing sanitizer for RO membranes (check compatibility). Available in 25L carboys, 200L drums, and 1000L IBCs (with food-grade inner coating). We provide certificates of food-grade compliance (FDA 21 CFR 173.310), HALAL, and Kosher upon request. Shelf life: 18 months. For small tea gardens, we offer 5L pails.

Dosage & Feeding:
INNOVA BCD 002 is stable and can be stored for extended period of time. Product should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Special care should be taken to avoid contact with chemicals such as acids, quaternary compounds, oxidising agents, low pH materials etc. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and food. In case of contact, immediately flush yes or skin with large amount of water several times. If swallowed, drink large amount of water or milk and get medical attention immediately. Do not reuse the empty container, destroy it.
