Innova Corporate (India) offers Closed System Treatment (Formula 0) – an economical nitrite-based corrosion inhibitor and scale preventative for small to medium-sized closed loops in Bawal's commercial and light industrial applications. This product is ideal for chilled water systems (50-500 TR), heating loops, engine jackets (diesel generators), hydraulic systems, and small process cooling loops in small engineering units, automotive workshops, and commercial buildings. "Formula 0" contains sodium nitrite (anodic inhibitor), sodium borate (pH buffer), and a low level of dispersant (polyacrylate). It maintains pH 9-10 and a nitrite residual of 400-800 ppm. Unlike higher-spec treatments, it does NOT contain copper azole – if yellow metals (brass, copper) are present, we recommend adding a separate tolyltriazole (TTZ) product at 2-5 ppm. Initial dosing: add 2-3% by volume of system water. Maintenance dose: add 1% of makeup water volume. For Bawal's small manufacturing units with diesel generator backup, this cost-effective treatment extends generator life. For systems known to have microbial slime (Bawal's warm climate promotes biofilms), we recommend adding a biocide (isothiazoline or glutaraldehyde) separately. We provide nitrite test strips and pH strips for easy monitoring. Available in 25L pails and 200L drums. For winter operation (Bawal can see 0-5°C/32-41°F in Dec-Jan), Formula 0 provides some freeze protection. For glycol systems, we have a separate compatible inhibitor.

Chiller Purpose:

      INNOVA CW 000 controls corrosion of piping, valves, pumps and heat exchangers by producing a protective film on all exposed metal surfaces - iron, steel, copper, copper alloys, aluminum and brass. It also prevents deposition of copper on ferrous surfaces by chelating any copper which might be introduced with the make up. This eliminates the possibility of attack caused when the copper deposits on steel to form galvanic cells.

      It works effectively over a wide range of conditions, such as in systems of multi-metal construction, where oxygen content is high or where flow is low. In previously untreated systems, INNOVA CW 000 may have a mild dispersing or sloughing action on existing deposits and corrosion products. To prevent trouble which can be caused by this debris, we recommend our INNOVA CW 000 closed system cleaners before beginning the treatment.

Feed Requirements:

      Initially about 1.0 kg of INNOVA CW 000 is recommended per m3 of water holding capacity. Any leakage through the system should be compensated with additional quantity of product proportionate to the make up requirement. INNOVA CW 000 Corrosion inhibitor may be fed into the system directly from the container without any dilution.
