Filming And Neutralising Amine Based High Pressure Boiler Water Treatment (INNOVA BW 342) in Bawal

Innova Corporate (India) offers High Pressure Boiler Water Treatment 342 – a chelant-polymer-phosphate coordinated program for medium-to-high pressure boilers (20-60 bar/290-870 psi) in Bawal's industries that use softened water (hardness <2 ppm, but not full demineralized). This product contains EDTA or NTA chelants, polyacrylic acid dispersant, and orthophosphate/polyphosphate. The chelants complex residual hardness (calcium, magnesium) to prevent scale, while the polymer disperses suspended solids, and phosphate buffers pH. For Bawal's steel mills and automotive plants with softened water (from ion exchange or RO), HP-342 is ideal. It maintains clean boiler tubes at heat fluxes up to 200,000 kcal/hr/m², even with high-TDS groundwater after softening. Dosage: 20-100 ppm based on feedwater hardness. The product is supplied as a liquid (30-40% active) or powder blend. For Bawal's food processing (if any) with medium-pressure boilers, we recommend this treatment to avoid scale-related tube failures. It also contains a sludge conditioner (tannin or lignosulfonate) to keep precipitates fluid. We provide on-site boiler water analysis (hardness, P-alkalinity, M-alkalinity, chloride, phosphate, pH, conductivity) to optimize blowdown. For steam purity sensitive applications (automotive heat treatment, food contact), our formulation has low solids to prevent contamination. Available in 200L drums, 25kg bags (powder). For old boilers with existing scale (common in Bawal's older steel mills), we recommend cleaning before starting HP-342. Technical support includes boiler inspection (UT thickness, borescope) and blowdown optimization.

Essentially an alternative to hydrazine in the "zero solids" approach to oxygen scavenging, this product is ideal for the technical requirements of industries in Bawal. Being of similar strength to commercially available hydrazine, minimum alteration is required to existing dosing arrangements in local plants. It is less toxic than hydrazine and reacts faster with oxygen. Furthermore, it does not produce ammonia, making it non-corrosive to copper and its alloys found in various machinery across the region.

Application:

For convenience the three integral parts of the system boiler system are considered separately.

Compatibility:

INNOVA BW 342 is compatible with most chemicals used in total boiler water treatment programs.

Handling:

Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 10 to 15 minutes and seek immediate medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and in severe cases seek immediate medical attention. Wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.

All Vapour Technology:

  • Strong reducing properties
  • Rapid reaction rate with oxygen
  • Volatility
  • Broad spectrum vapour/liquid distribution ratio
  • Low conductivity in aqueous solutions.
  • Low toxicity.
  • A total solution for boiler protection.

The Boiler:

As well as its strong reducing properties and rapid reaction rate with oxygen, INNOVA BW 342 does not significantly contribute to dissolved solids in the boiler water. It may, therefore, be used as an alternative to hydrazine for high pressure installation or wherever the zero solids approach is called for.

Condensate System:

In addition to the properties already considered, the volatility of INNOVA BW 342 is such that any product remaining unreacted in the boiler, is available in the system to react with oxygen in the condensate. The broad spectrum distribution ration ensures its uniform availability throughout the entire condensate system. As reaction products do not include ammonia and or ammonia releasing chemicals, copper and its alloys are not attacked.

Availability & Selection:

All Vapour Technology (AVT) is applicable to the majority of steam boiler systems as well as pressurised hot water systems which demand a zero solids approach. However, systems differ greatly not only in terms of size and complexity, but also in terms of pressure. In order that maximum benefits can be achieved from AV Technology in virtually any system, the products based on zero solids approach, INNOVA BW 340 have been introduced.

Packing:

INNOVA BW 342 is available in 25kgs, 50 kgs & 200 kgs drums.
