The primary water sources in Coimbatore – Siruvani river water (hardness 80-150 ppm, low TDS) and groundwater (hardness 200-500 ppm, high iron) – cause scale formation on boiler tubes. Without treatment, calcium carbonate and iron deposits cause insulation, overheating, and tube failure. Our liquid antiscalant contains a synergistic blend of polyacrylic acid, phosphonates (ATMP, HEDP, PBTC), and organic dispersants (maleic-acrylic copolymer). The liquid form allows easy dosing via electronic metering pumps. For textile mills using steam for dyeing and finishing, improved boiler efficiency reduces fuel costs (natural gas or LDO). Dosage: 1-5 ppm of product per ppm of hardness (as CaCO₃). For boilers with softened water (common in food and textile finishing), we recommend 5-15 ppm for insurance. Compatible with oxygen scavengers (sodium sulfite, erythorbic acid, DEHA) and pH adjusters (caustic, amines).
