Antiscalant For High Silica Water (INNOVA MT 066) in Delhi
Innova Corporate (India) supplies a specialized Antiscalant for High Silica Water to address a critical challenge in Delhi's groundwater sources, particularly in areas like Bawana, Narela, and parts of South Delhi where silica levels reach 40-90 ppm as SiO₂ due to geological formations. Silica scaling is particularly problematic in reverse osmosis (RO) systems used in data centers, pharmaceutical plants, and food processing because it forms hard, glassy deposits that are nearly impossible to remove chemically. Our specialized antiscalant contains amine-functionalized polymers, organophosphonates, and proprietary silica inhibitors that prevent amorphous silica polymerization and magnesium silicate (MgSiO₃) formation. For Delhi's data centers and pharmaceutical plants operating RO at high recoveries (75-85%) to conserve water, this product enables sustainable operation without frequent chemical cleaning. For textile and food processing units using groundwater, it prevents silica scale on RO membranes. The antiscalant works by modifying silica particle surface charge, keeping them dispersed in the reject stream. It is effective up to 150 ppm silica and at pH 7-10. In Delhi's hot climate, the product remains stable. Field trials in Delhi data center RO plants showed a 60% extension in membrane cleaning intervals (from 3 months to 5 months). Treatment & Dosage Requirements in Delhi :
In calculating the dose rate of Tacelene Chem-7066 for industrial units in Delhi, the membrane manufacturer's operating limits and local feed water quality should be strictly considered. Principle Uses
Tacelene chem.-7066 has been developed specially as a SILICA inhibitor, for waters with SCR <1.3 to 4.2 mg/l.
For Ipb/Ksp ratios < 3 the preffered product of choice is Tacelene Chem-7065; for ratios 2.8 to 7.0, INNOVA MT 065 is normally dosed at 5.0 to 25 mg/L in the concentrate, which is equivalent to 2.5 to 6 mg/L in the feed water, dependent on the system recovery.
INNOVA MT 065 can be diluted with product water and should be applied continuously by means of a suitable metering pump. Continuous feed is essential since calcium sulphate is difficult to remove once precipitation has occurred.
Handling:
Do not store the material in open, store in cool dark place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. This product exhibits very low order of oral toxicity. No special care is required in handling this product.
Avoid contacts with eyes, skin and food. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with large amount of water several times. If swallowed drink large amount of water or milk and get medical attention immediately. Do not re-use the empty container, destroy it.
