Innova Corporate (India) supplies Benzalkonium Chloride 50% (BKC 50) – a broad-spectrum quaternary ammonium biocide for Delhi's industrial and institutional sanitation needs. This product is highly effective against bacteria (including Legionella), algae, and fungi – especially problematic during Delhi's monsoon season (July-September, humidity 70-80%) and in cooling towers, water tanks, and HVAC systems. For Delhi's data centers and commercial high-rises, BKC 50 is used as a slime control agent in cooling towers and as a disinfectant for water storage tanks. For hospitals (AIIMS, Apollo, Fortis) and hotels, it is used for surface disinfection and Legionella control (200-400 ppm). For pharmaceutical plants and food processing units, it controls biofilm in cooling loops. The 50% concentration allows economical shipping and on-site dilution. It exhibits strong synergy with non-oxidizing biocides like glutaraldehyde and isothiazolinone. However, it is incompatible with anionic polymers – proper feed separation is advised. For food processing units (dairy, bakeries), we offer a food-grade quat with NSF certification. Residual activity lasts 3-5 days in recirculating water systems. Available in 25L, 200L drums. We provide quat test strips and Legionella testing kits for compliance monitoring.
