Innova Corporate (India) supplies Isothiazolinone-Based Biocide (14% active concentrate) – a powerful, non-oxidizing antimicrobial for Delhi's industrial water treatment, especially for cooling towers, air washers, and storage tanks. It is highly effective against pseudomonas, legionella, sulfate-reducing bacteria, and algae. For Delhi's data center cooling towers (critical 24/7 operation), a shock dose of 25-50 ppm weekly keeps microbial counts low even during monsoon. For pharmaceutical cleanrooms, it is used to preserve cooling water for air handling units. For textile sizing and desizing baths (Bawana, Narela), which contain starch, PVA, and organic sizes, isothiazolinone prevents bacterial degradation of sizes, extending bath life from 2 days to 7 days, reducing waste and chemical costs. For food processing (dairy, bakery), it controls microbial growth in wash water and cooling loops. The product works by inhibiting key enzymes (reacting with thiol groups). It is EPA registered and REACH compliant. For Delhi's paper mills (if any), it controls slime in white water loops. Important: it is incompatible with reducing agents like sulfite (oxygen scavenger) – do not feed simultaneously. It also has temperature stability up to 50°C (122°F); at higher temperatures, it degrades faster. For Delhi's summer (45°C/113°F), we recommend increasing dosage by 20% for shock treatments. The product is available as a green-yellow liquid. Pack sizes: 25L, 200L drums. We also provide isothiazolinone test kits (Hach method) for residual monitoring. For closed loops with long retention time (e.g., chilled water systems in data centers), isothiazolinone is ideal due to its persistence (half-life 1-2 weeks). For food contact applications, we have a lower concentration (1.5%) version with FDA approval (for indirect food contact). For alternative to chlorine, this biocide does not produce trihalomethanes (THMs) – important for environmental compliance in Delhi.
INNOVA PA 902 has a very broad activity spectrum against bacteria, yeast, and moulds, tailored to handle the specific environmental microbial challenges found in Delhi. Typical MIC (minimum inhibitory concentration) values against relevant spoilage organisms ensure peak efficiency for local industrial applications.
NNOVA PA 902 is suitable for the wet-state preservation of a wide range of aqueous products including paints, polymer emulsions, adhesives, ceramic glazes, fillers and sealants and as a tank-side additive for ready-diluted metalworking fluids.
Normal use concentrations are in the range 0.05 to 0.4%, depending on the product to be protected and the environmental conditions to which it will exposed. The local Kimberlite technical centre can assist in determining the precise conc. required for specific applications.
Addition / Compatibility: INNOVA PA 902 can be added at any time during manufacturing. However, it is advised to add it as early as Possible to give protection throughout the production process. Care should be take to ensure that temperature, pH and redox potential at the point of addition are suitable o the product.
INNOVA PA 902 is compatible with most formulations in which its application is recommended and it may be used in formaldehyde sensitive systems. Reducing agents, amines and other strong nucleophiles can cause degradation of the active ingredients.
Packaging: 25Kgs & 200kgs plastic drums.
Shelf Life: 18 months from the date of manufacturing.
Storage:: Protect from extreme temperatures.
