Innova Corporate (India) offers Low Pressure Boilers 505 – a complete treatment program for low-pressure steam boilers (up to 15 bar/215 psi) in Delhi's small-scale industries: laundries (commercial and industrial), hotels (laundry and kitchen steam), small textile units, bakeries, and small food processing plants. This product is a single-drum liquid formulation containing phosphate (for hardness precipitation), polymer (for sludge conditioning), and an oxygen scavenger (sodium sulfite or erythorbate). It also includes anti-foam (silicone-based) to prevent carryover. For Delhi's boilers that use softened water (hardness <5 ppm, from ion exchange), this treatment maintains no scale, no corrosion, and pure steam. Dosage: 50-200 ppm based on feedwater hardness and sulfite residual (maintain 20-40 ppm sulfite). The product is alkaline (pH 11-12) and also acts as a pH booster (no need for separate caustic addition). For steam humidifiers in Delhi's cleanrooms (pharma, data centers), the product ensures clean, non-corrosive steam (no amine carryover). It is supplied as a clear liquid in 25L, 200L drums. We provide boiler water test kits for hardness (EDTA), P-alkalinity (phenolphthalein), M-alkalinity (methyl orange), sulfite (iodometric), pH, and conductivity. For small package boilers (e.g., 200-500 kg/hr in bakeries and laundries), we also offer convenient 25L pails with a simple dosing pump or manual addition (weekly). For low-pressure boilers with intermittent operation (seasonal hotels or food units), we recommend a higher initial dose (300-400 ppm) and lay-up protection (using a nitrogen blanket or a sulfite solution at 200 ppm). Our technical support includes blowdown optimization (manual or automatic) and steam purity testing (conductivity, pH) for Delhi's customers.

Application:

    The specific corrosion inhibitors in INNOVA BW 505 provide corrosion protection by the formation of a protective passive film on the metal surfaces. It avoids unnecessary increase of alkalinity in the boiler water with higher cycles of concentration.

    The protective layer prevents direct contact of the corrosive media (water) with the metal surface. INNOVA BW 505 also contains powerful threshold inhibitor to prevent scale formation in feed water pipelines and boiler internals.

    The crystal distorter and specific dispersant incorporated in the product ensures high mobility of the phosphate sludge formed so that it is easily removed by blow-down. The dispersant also ensures that suspended particulate matter do not accumulate and are removed by the blow-down.

Dosage & Feeding:

    INNOVA BW 505 can be dosed directly without dilution. Normally a phosphate reserve is maintained in the boiler water. The proper treatment levels vary with factors like boiler system, operating conditions, boiler pressure and water characteristics. The product characteristics and viscosity permit easy feeding by on-line dosage pumps. The desired feeding mode is the continuous injection to feed water.

Handling:

    Avoid contact with eye or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention. In case of ingestion, wash mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention. Avoid extremes of temperature and wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.

    INNOVA BW 505 is compatible with almost all products used in total boiler water treatment programme.
