This cleaner removes organic fouling (biofilm, oil, surfactants, protein, dye residues), silica, and colloidal deposits from membrane surfaces. It contains sodium hydroxide (pH 11-12), chelating agents (EDTA or NTA), anionic surfactants, and a proprietary dispersant. For Delhi's textile RO plants (ZLD systems) in Bawana and Narela, organic fouling from dyes and auxiliaries is common – MT-204 restores normalized flux by 90-95% after a 2-4 hour recirculation at 40°C (104°F). For data centers with RO for cooling water makeup, MT-204 removes biofilm and colloidal silica. For pharmaceutical RO systems (purified water, WFI), alkaline cleaning removes protein and organic residues. The product is low-foaming and compatible with most membrane materials (polyamide TFC, PES, PVDF). Dosage: 1-3% by volume of the cleaning solution (i.e., 10-30 liters per 1000 liters of water).
