Innova Corporate (India) introduces our specialized Biocides for Severe Fouling for challenging industrial water conditions in Indore. Facilities across Pithampur, Sanwer Road, and Lasudia Mori encounter extreme biological fouling due to high nutrient loads from food processing (soybean, namkeen), pharmaceutical effluents, large cooling water systems (automobile plants), and warm temperatures (42-45°C summers). Standard biocide programs often fail, leading to reduced heat transfer (10-25% loss), increased pump energy (15-30% higher), accelerated under-deposit corrosion, and frequent shutdowns (every 2-4 weeks). Our Severe Fouling Biocide is a synergistic blend of glutaraldehyde, quaternary ammonium compounds, DBNPA, isothiazolinones, and TCMTB with penetrants and dispersants. This multi-mechanism approach provides rapid kill, biofilm penetration, dispersion, and prevention of regrowth (2-4 weeks). It is effective against Pseudomonas, Legionella, SRB, iron bacteria, fungi, algae, and biocide-resistant strains. It is particularly valuable for automobile plant cooling systems (Pithampur - high organic loads from cutting oils), food processing ETPs (high COD loads), and pharmaceutical ETPs. Typical application: shock dose 100-400 ppm for 6-24 hours, then maintenance 20-60 ppm continuous/intermittent. It is stable at pH 4-9 and up to 80°C. By using our Severe Fouling Biocide, Indore industries achieve 95% biofilm reduction within 24 hours, 10-20% heat transfer improvement, 3-6x longer between cleanings (2-4 weeks to 3-4 months), 50-70% reduction in under-deposit corrosion, and improved system reliability.
Dosage in cooling water treatment programs 20 to 30 ppm for effective control of biocide activity, for cooling waters.
INNOVA BCD 417 can be fed as received or diluted with water minimum 10% concentration with any chemical feed solution. The chemical should be added to cooling tower basin (or any other point, which provides uniform mixing) addition should be made to metering pump to minimize handling.
Badly fouled systems must be cleaned before treatment to start. INITIAL DOSE - When the system is noticeably fouled, slug feed 25 to 50 ppm of INNOVA BCD 417 in the system. SUBSEQUENT DOSE - When the Microbial count is evident, slug feed 20 to 40 ppm of INNOVA BCD 417.
The best indication of the successful application of INNOVA BCD 417 is visual inspection of tower surfaces or monitoring changes in heat transfer on metal surface of process equipment.
Uses of on-site bacterial counts or microscopic examination provide relative indicators of system cleanliness and biological control. If bacteria counts are used, Note that counts may be high immediately after biocide addition. Counts will be lower as control is achieved.
INNOVA BCD 417 is available in 25Kgs, 50Kgs & 200 Kgs.
