Innova Corporate (India) introduces Biocides for Severe Fouling for challenging water conditions in Maharashtra. Facilities across Pune (Chakan, Pimpri-Chinchwad), Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Thane, Solapur, and Kolhapur encounter extreme biological fouling due to high organic load from textile (dyeing), food processing (sugar), chemical effluents, automobile (cutting oils), hot summers (40-45°C), coastal humidity (Mumbai, Thane, Raigad), and high TDS water. Standard biocide programs often fail, leading to reduced heat transfer (10-25% loss), increased pump energy, and frequent shutdowns. Our product is a synergistic blend of glutaraldehyde, QACs, DBNPA, and isothiazolinones with penetrants and dispersants. This multi-mechanism approach provides rapid kill, biofilm penetration, and prevention of regrowth (2-4 weeks). Effective against Pseudomonas, Legionella, SRB, fungi, and biocide-resistant strains. Typical application: shock dose 100-400 ppm for 6-24 hours. Method of Feeding :

    INNOVA BCD 417 can be fed as received or diluted with water minimum 10% concentration with any chemical feed solution. The chemical should be added to cooling tower basin (or any other point, which provides uniform mixing) addition should be made to metering pump to minimize handling.

Feed Requirements :

    Badly fouled systems must be cleaned before treatment to start. INITIAL DOSE - When the system is noticeably fouled, slug feed 25 to 50 ppm of INNOVA BCD 417 in the system. SUBSEQUENT DOSE - When the Microbial count is evident, slug feed 20 to 40 ppm of INNOVA BCD 417.

Control Testing :

    The best indication of the successful application of INNOVA BCD 417 is visual inspection of tower surfaces or monitoring changes in heat transfer on metal surface of process equipment.

    Uses of on-site bacterial counts or microscopic examination provide relative indicators of system cleanliness and biological control. If bacteria counts are used, Note that counts may be high immediately after biocide addition. Counts will be lower as control is achieved.
