Our Sludge Conditioner (502) is a high-efficiency, polymeric dispersant formulation specifically engineered for the internal treatment of low and medium-pressure boilers. This advanced sludge conditioner works by keeping hardness salts and metallic oxides in a light, non-adherent, and free-flowing state, preventing them from baking onto critical heat exchange surfaces. By utilizing our specialized 502 formulation, facilities can ensure peak thermal efficiency and prevent the formation of insulating scale layers that lead to tube overheating and energy loss. The conditioner facilitates the easy removal of suspended solids through routine bottom blowdown, ensuring a cleaner boiler interior and reduced maintenance downtime. Optimized for stability in moderate pressure environments, this solution is an essential component for extending boiler service life and maintaining consistent steam quality.

INNOVA BW 502 is non-corrosive and clearly outperforms the conventional polymers. A unique single blend for low and medium pressure boilers, using low temperature unsoftened feed water, having maximum 30 ppm of total hardness in feed water.

Application:

    INNOVA BW 502 is recommended for use in low to medium pressure boilers (upto 20 kg/cm2). In most such boilers, the feed water may not be pretreated with base exchange softenersINNOVA BW 502 ensures that no sludge is deposited even under these conditions.

    However, with extremely hard water it is advisable to soften or partially demineralise the water. Also, the maximum available condensate (uncontaminated) should be returned for boiler feed.

    The strong synthetic dispersant in INNOVA BW 502 ensures that deposits or complex phosphates if and when formed are kept in a dispersed state and removed during boiler blow-down. INNOVA BW 502 also gradually removes any scales or deposits that have formed earlier.

Dosage & Feeding:

    The normal dose level of INNOVA BW 502 is 2 - 10 ppm based on the boiler feed water but this again depends on the quality of the feed water and may vary for individual installations. The ideal method of feeding is by dosing pumps either electronic or electro-mechanical.

Handling:

    Avoid contact with eye or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.

    In case of ingestion, wash mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention. Avoid extremes of temperature and wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.

Compatibility:

    Avoid contact with skin and eyes, do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention. Gloves and goggles should be used where appropriate.
